Genome Canada’s 10 genomics technology platforms provide researchers across Canada and internationally with access to leading-edge technologies used in genomics, metabolomics, proteomics and other related areas of research, which underpin research breakthroughs across diverse sectors including health, agriculture and agri-food, forestry, environment, fisheries and aquaculture, energy and mining. They also improve the quality of research by providing input into research proposals on appropriate technologies, study design, data analysis and bioinformatics. Further, the platforms develop new and improved technologies to support cutting-edge genomics research that improves the lives of Canadians.
