Applied Genomics and Proteomics Research in Human Health

In May 2003, Genome Canada launched the Applied Genomics and Proteomics Research in Human Health Competition aimed at funding proposals focusing on the development and application of genomics and proteomics tools to improve the prediction, prevention and treatment of human disease for individuals and populations.

Results for Applied Genomics and Proteomics Research in Human Health Competition were announced on April 13, 2004 - and $123 million was invested in 14 innovative and exciting research projects.
