2012/13 Program on Research and Innovation Leading to Rapid Detection of Pathogenic E.coli

Alberta Innovates Bio Solutions, Genome Alberta/Alberta Livestock and Meat Agency (ALMA), Génome Canada with support from Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs invested $1.025 million in two projects through the "2012/13 Program on Research and Innovation Leading to Rapid Detection of Pathogenic E. coli". This Program was intended to respond to current issues in food safety, create long-term health benefits for Canada's population, and foster continuous improvement in the safety of the Canadian food supply.
